Apparently this year it will not be Thailand! I am seriously thinking about the winter with my family on this island paradise.
Of the benefits

2) Great sea and nature. There is what to see and what to do there.
3) Cheap food- lots of fruit, fresh juices, lobsters, shrimps, oysters and other Caribbean banality. Fish. The average price for meat is 2 bucks for kilo. 0.7 cents per fruit around.
4) Awesome communications and internet. The guys use 20MB – they say it’s not the best package taken. There are more, etc.
5) Petrol is $1 for 40 liters.
6) Venezuelan are the most beautiful and contact women in the world. I knew two at other resorts, for them sex is not the victim, for them it’s a lifestyle. You have almost every day of fun and relieve with booty Creole.
7) Alcoholic beverages. J & B is 6.5 bucks.
8) It is completely Duty Free Zone. There are cheap, clothes, shoes, perfumes, glasses. There are the coolest brands.
9) Flats in a good area cost $ 500-600. House with servants about 1K.
P.S. Hard Rock Cafe and Hilton, are not built in bad places. And they are also there.
Cons – they say there is crime. But I talked to people there, they say they have not met it for 2 years of life there.
There is so rich nature there. And anyone can find what to do and what to see.
Many tourists consider that there is a problem with meals in Venezuela, but it’s rather the opinion of people which have visited all inclusive hotels, where the geast are seldom pampered with culinary delights. In order to taste real Venezuelan food, you must go outdoors. The few know that Margarita is real gastronomic paradise, where are lots of restaurants with cuisins fit every taste. I have made the top-10 of restaurant at Margarita Island, where one can not only have good food, but also spend nice time.

Authentic restaurant on the beach. Spiritual place with excellent cuisine, which is dominated by seafood, great service and low prices.
Tips: Juan Griego is known for spectacular sunsets, so is better to come to the restaurant around 5 pm.
The refined interior, high level of service and original cuisine. The price level is high enough, and portion sizes are very small. The restaurant is a favorite place of secular parties and the cream of Venezuelan society.
Tips: Best time to visit – Weekend
Casa Caranta (Pampatar)
Restaurant Gallery Casa Caranta is absolutely deservedly considered one of the best restaurants on the island of Margarita. Decorated in colonial style with lots of unique details, it seems to be a work of art. In addition to the restaurant there is a great service, incredibly delicious food (fetuchchini homemade, original sauces and incredible desserts), and on Fridays and Saturdays there are local musicians.
Tips: Open from 7pm daily (in high season it is better to book tables in advance).
El Paraiso (La Siera)
The restaurant is located in the mountains of the National Park La Sierra El Copey, which offers amazing views of the beauty of the island. Its owner, Senor Pedro, breeds birds, so guests can dine surrounded by parrots, pigeons and hummingbirds. In the restaurant the meat on an open fire is incredibly cooked, served on plum brandy rum, make the best Margarita of juice parchito (Passion Fruit) and roll cigars.
Tips: The restaurant is open only during the day from 12pm to 6pm, the average check is approx. BsF 250
