Magic garden in Samui

On the way back from the zoo, we decided to visit sculpture garden, or, as it is called – Buddha Magic garden. It was not far away and on the way home. Ticket price is 80 baht ($ 3) per person.

It’s a very beautiful place, here are many large sculptures, built 30 years ago by a farmer who has grown durian. Farmer’s name was Thongsuk and all the sculptures were made by him and his wife until his death. All sculptures are hand-made from stone.

The atmosphere is very distinctive, high humidity of the creek with a waterfall, the shadow of great trees with strangely intertwined roots, the statues, covered with green moss, a lot of statues hidden in the vines and the trees. All this sets up a certain way. The impression was as we were in a movie with Indiana Jones:)

Pictures, unfortunately, can not convey inner feelings, and there wasn’t enough light, but we really liked it, I would recommend to visit.
